Pnut Butter Bar

Food Style: PB&Js along with some classics fused with good ol' peanut bliss.
Dish Eaten: Choconut Monkey
Grade:A

Truck Review:
Peanut Butter is always welcome to those who like it and are not allergic and this truck definitively brings home the peanut butter. Unlike other sandwich trucks, I pleasantly found that the bread used with the peanut butter is not like the cheap Wonder white bread that others use but it is a nice, clean, non-aftertaste white bread. Also, it was toasted ever so slightly so the peanut butter and the Nutella combined was a warm temperature but not hot enough to burn due to oils. The menu is quite diverse with burgers and a "Walk the Pig" hot-dog that contained a slight hint of PB along with a chili mustard and cheese. The food section definetly does catch my eye as my curiosity would like to know how does PB go with a burger or hot-dog. Also, their PB cream puff is quite a seller according to the statements on twitter. The price is a bit high for a PB&J sandwich ($5 to $6), but then again the main call of burgers and Thai wings does make my curiosity override that.  All in all, this was a very pleasant experience and I would love to try it again. One part worth mentioning is the look of the truck. It has a gorgeous full pane window so you can see just how clean they keep the truck on the inside (which is very clean and shiny). The peanut man on the truck is also a nice touch.

Aunties Fry Bread

Website: http://www.auntiesfrybread.com/

Food Style: A Native American Fusion

Dish Eaten: Frybread with powdered sugar

Grade:B+

Truck Review:
The bread itself was pretty good. The bread was fresh and hot since they just made it and the wait for your food is about 5 minutes depending on how much you order. It tastes similar to a funnel cake with a crispy center but the outer edges are soft and fluffy. They offer several toppings with the fry bread including their special bean and beef chili. They also have a chicken and vegetarian options for those who choose not to eat beef. I made the mistake of going with only sugar but I believe it goes better with toppings. On the other hand, the staff was very friendly and they serve Saspirilla.

MachoNachoTruck

Food Style: Nachos with different meats and a dessert nacho

Dishes Eaten: Chicken Nachos

Grade: D-

Truck Review:
I'm not happy. If there is one thing I hate in nachos is when there is more liquid then solids. That is exactly what happened. There was way too much toppings and not enough chips, and they were soggy. The cheese was the normal mozzarella and the beans are the typical re-fried beans found anywhere. The guacamole is not even worth mentioning since there was barely any.I know people say really good things about the truck but if what they say is true, then why am I not happy? In any case, the nachos were not even par with the ones found in stadiums. At least, those chips aren't soggy. I make better nachos at home.

Curb A Peel Truck

Food Style: "influenced and reflected by many multi-cultural origins"

Dish Eaten: All in one Sandwich, Sorrel Wrap, Drunken Sailor Taco
Grade:A+

Truck Review:

The food is absolutely amazing! The taste is on par with a 4 or 5 rresturant with professional chefs. As stated by one of tasters "Whoever invented this is a brilliant mind. I am very good at knowing what I'm eating by taste but Im perplexed. All I know is that its delicious" The all in one sandwich is ,as the name sounds, a sandwich that contains fries, your choice of beef and/or chicken, fries, aioli, and tomatoes Together it forms a flavor explosion of smooth and sharp flavors, with a kick. The sorrel wrap is "the best thing yet inside a tortilla" (stated by a taster). The familiar but exotic flavors bring together a perfect combo with the tortilla and cheese. Despite being an edible flower, the flavor was not too exotic and when when the eaten with their homemade African sauce and cheese all in an flour tortilla it was a delicious vegetarian alternative. The petite Drunken Sailor was very nicely made with the aioli. It was not soggy or overly fishy not did it leave and aftertaste but instead it brought out the aioli taste and competed it. Out of the three dishes, the taco was the smallest sizing in at a palm size. The sandwich requires two hands and a fork, because it is packed and will drop down. The sorrel comes in size  palm to finger sized triangular wedges making it a decent sized snack to light meal. Also worth noting is the aesthetic of the truck. Unlike other trucks, it has the whole kitchen shown behind a layer of glass and the artwork is a beautiful play of green and lack. Furthermore, their high tech menu  is a LCD screen (how cool is that?) is a sophisticated touch to their friendly and relaxed attitude. Also, give them a thumbs up through the window when to taste how good the food is. When we did it we can visibly see how they celebrated.

Crepes Bonaparte

Website:http://crepesbonaparte.com/

Food Style: Sweet and Food crepes

Dish Eaten: Nutella crepe and custom vegetarian crepe
Grade: A+

Truck Review:
This is one of rarities. The overall customer service was amazing! Friendly, cordial staff and a very fast delivery as well. The customization at no extra cost really gives power back to the people. The crepes came out hot and delicious, they  even drew on a mustached happy face!  That gives plus points in my book.
Despite being cooked at such high temperature, the fresh vegetables and the authentic ingredients mixed with the expertly made sauce to create a crepe that far exceeded my expectation. Also, the serving portion was larger than most at the size of a normal crepe found as dessert in a restaurantDefinitively a hit!

Chunknchip

Website:http://www.chunknchip.com/

Food Style: Dessert with ice cream and cookie sandwhiches

Dish Eaten: Mush
Grade: C-

Truck Review:
When I heard of fresh baked cookies crumbled and mixed with artisan ice cream, I thought I died an gone to heaven. Unfortunately, reality yanked me back. The ice cream wasn't impressive. I expected something on par with Fosselmann's or even the good ol' fashioned Thrifty's (Rite Aid) ice cream, but it didn't happen. It was okay, nothing spectacular, like Dreyers bought from the super market or something. The cookies themselves weren't impressive either. At this my vision of clouds and harps were shattered since their whole staple is cookies and ice cream. Like the ice cream, it was okay, it would be equivalent to Nestle's Tollhouse cookies not Emil's Swiss Bakery. Also, the lack of prices on the actual truck make things a tad confusing for a starving student like me and the lack of smililey nature from the workers in the truck make things a bit standoffish. I would pass on this truck.
//note: if there is a messed up order they will give it away for free so keep your ears open//

RollingSushiVan

website:http://rollingsushivan.com/?page_id=63

Food Style: Sushi and Japanese food with yogurt

Dish Eaten: Spicy Tuna Hand Roll
Grade: A

Truck Review:
Cheap, good sushi? Yes please! When you hear sushi out of a truck, most people cringe at the thought but here at this truck the fish was fresh and the service was almost instantaneously. The worker was very helpful and prompt. The price is very reasonable at $3.50 for a hand-roll and they offer all the favorites such as the California roll, the Spicy Tuna roll, and Edamame. They also offer Nigiri Sushi and sides like Miso soup, rice, seaweed salad and house salad. They even have frozen yogurt for dessert if you would like. The only drawback, which is a personal preference, is the lack of kick in the ginger. I would definitively eat there again.

ChompChompNation

Website: http://www.chompchompnation.com/

Food Style: Singapore orientated cuisine mixed with all american classics such as burgers, sloppy joes, and even smores.
Overall grade: B
Dish Eaten: Tofu Singapore Burger

Truck Review:
While the time it says to cook itself was 5 minutes, The wait in line is definitely a little more than what you would expect for a the number of people. I was pleased with the customer service. The workers in the trucks are friendly and actually ask for your name to match with the order. If they have a portion of the order ready (as in one sandwich not both) they will let you have it with an estimated time frame as how long it would take rather than just handing it to you. When the food comes, the presentation is pretty cool. The buns are dried a little extra to hold the sauce without getting soggy and the pairing of the Taro chips along with the sandwich gave an different twist to the traditional sandwich and chips. Regarding the taste, it was delicious and well portioned. Its not a huge amount so don't order just one thing if your starving, but the tofu burger itself was a delicate mixture of sweet with the stable taste of tofu. The bun was nicely toasted but the taro chips was the deal maker. Nicely fried and crispy, it was awesome. If your looking for something different it is definitely something to check out
